Responsibilities:

• Oversee and direct the work of a tree-care crew. At the same time, they prune, remove, and perform other tree services according to American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards and company-specific rules.
• Ability to safely and effectively use an aerial lift or a bucket truck.
• Demonstrate knowledge of rigging and lowering techniques to ensure the safety of personnel and property during tree removal or pruning services.
• Enforce safety standards following industry standards as well as company-specific policies.
• Maintain daily production goals while adhering to relevant safety procedures.
• Collaborate with the sales arborist to ensure the successful completion of all jobs.

Qualifications:

• At least three years of experience leading and training a tree care crew safely and efficiently while ensuring the completion of all assigned tasks
• ISA Certification or Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP) credentials are desired but not mandatory
• Must possess a valid driver's license with an upstanding driving record
• Strong communication skills and previous experience with employee instruction
• Ability to recognize and communicate possible additional services or products to the customer.
• Adheres to a professional attitude, behavior, and appearance at all times
• Provide top-notch customer service
