Responsibilities:

• Gently lowers limbs and other materials with hand lines while ensuring safe conditions for those around the worksite.
• Unpacks, organizes, sets up, and stores tools, equipment, and materials before use at the worksite.
• Uses handsaws and pole saws from the ground to perform necessary tree care.
• When needed, drive trucks and other equipment, such as log movers, chippers, and stump grinders.
• Conducts regular maintenance on assigned trucks and other equipment.
• Maintains a safe environment for employees and the public at all times.
• Attends weekly safety meetings and daily job briefings.
• Observe all company and industry safety standards, including using PPE when appropriate.
• Ensures that the work area is clean and orderly at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the crew leader.

Qualifications:

• Ability to safely operate and maintain various tree care equipment, such as chippers, chainsaws, and other tools used for trimming and liming trees.
• Prior experience with tree care equipment operation is preferred but not required.
• Possession of a valid Driver’s License is mandatory.
• Must be capable of carrying at least 50 lbs and working in outdoor settings regardless of weather conditions.
